Watercolour bowl

Handcrafted and painted by ceramicist Mie Kim, this large bowl is available in very limited quantities. Each watercolour bowl is a unique piece designed specifically for Dinette using a hand-built technique. The dark black clay with a matte glaze is fired several times to create the distinctive watercolour effect. Perfect for a salad or sharing appetizer, it stands out with its earthy tones and minimalist, modern look.

Mie Kim

Mie Kim is a ceramic artist from Seoul. In her Montreal studio, she creates works that invite rest and stillness, and offers classes and workshops in small groups. Her unique works, always modern and minimalist, combine soft lines, subtle curves, raw finishes and sober colours. A deep love for nature and the environment around us is reflected in each of Mie Kim's works, where wood ash, earth and stone chips often merge with clay and glazes.
